Best Buy is building a sense of community through Blue Shirt Nation, a community website that enables Best Buy employees to share ideas and form relationships. What started as an experiment and has grown to become a model for other organizations that desire to increase employee loyalty and generate new marketing ideas from their employees.
There is a lot to be gained from the employees that work face to face with your customers. They are many times the first to see areas that can be improved.
Build a community where your employees feel that they can make a difference and that their ideas matter.
