Hold a Seminar

There is always something others can learn about your industry. Put together a presentation that would interest your customer group and get the word out.

A vitamin shop could have a free seminar on how to beat off the cold season sniffles and then ask local gyms, shops and libraries if they could leave a few flyers at the front counter or hang a flyer on the window.

You don't even need to try and sell anything at the seminar, just offer your information free of charge and establish yourself and your business as a reputable expert in the field.
